So, so, good such fantastic food! Do be careful when ordering from the menu as one meal item will be so huge it takes up half the table! Super generous portions. I hope you guys will open up again soon. I don't have a car so can't come ablnd odor take out from you unless I get a ride.
They'd only reopened from the neighborhood fire 2 days ago and this was my first trip there ever so I didn't know what to expect. I was visiting Jue's based upon excellent 'word of mouth' reviews from locals. I was not disappointed. Their food is carry out only & I ordered the Family 'C' option w the Happy Family Veggies & Sweet & Sour Pork. It easily fed our troop of 3 w left overs for breakfast. It came packed neatly in a convenient box like the old 'Sea Rations' I used to get as a young marine too many years ago to count. It was plentiful, tasty & varied & I'll be back! Don't forget to tip those workers who do work even if it's a 'to go' order as they're counting on that money to feed their families!
I have to say I love love love their Green Beans and Chicken. Boyfriend likes the Pepper Steak (without tomatoes). Lo Mein is good but would be better with white chicken (just my personal preference).
This is my favorite Chinese food ever! The staff is so nice and since we are regulars we know them! 10/10 would recommend
Classic American Sudo-Chinese Restaurant. Food is decent, it was good enough for your grandparents, it should be good enough for you. Love the interior. Great atmosphere, screams classic Chinese Americana Via la Egg Foo Yung!!
I grew up in Mt. Iron and Jue's was my favorite restaurant. The sweet and sour sauce may have changed a little over the years, but is still light years better than most chinese restaurants I've visited. They offer both a lunch and dinner buffet (both much more limited in items than the nearby Old China Buffet, but much tastier.) I really like the pork fried rice, sweet and sour pork, and the chicken wings. The hot mustard is truly an experience. It's a horseradish or wasabi spicy that doesn't heat up your mouth but sneaks up the back of your nose and be forewarned to treat it carefully or you will turn red and start crying. Mixing the sweet and sour sauce with a wasabi size dollop of the hot mustard is the way I like to dip the wontons or eggrolls. If you are nearby and craving american chinese food, go to Jue's and enjoy!
